As owner of this firm, Suzanne Giglio is a Certified Public Accountant, receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, and has been working in the accounting field for over 25 years. She got her motivation to pursue an accounting degree while working in her family's accounting firm, which was in the state of Florida. While working in her family’s business, she received hands on experience with accounting and tax preparation. With her passion to help individuals understand how to run and operate a profitable business she helped gain respect and confidence with her clients. She could assist those clients in need by helping them understand their shortcomings and teach them the proper way of handling their finances.
After five years of working in the family business, Suzanne decided to branch out and purchase an accounting firm of her own. Her business knowledge and personal dedication to serve these clients resulted in her practice more than doubling in size within a short period of time. Her attention to service, detail and her thoroughness helped in making Suzanne stand out from other accountants.
Suzanne has had offices in New York and is currently in the state of Florida, where she continues to service clients throughout the United States and abroad. Suzanne offers accounting and financial services to her clients at all locations. Her office is currently located in Palm Coast, Florida but she takes appointments in the Jacksonville area. By having this availability, she hopes to reach more clients and provide them with her professional services. For the clients located outside the office location, she offers remote accounting services.
The services offered include but are not limited to audit, review and compilation engagements, tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll and bill paying services. Since accounting needs vary with each client, the firm tailors the services for each client on an individual basis, according to their needs. That is one of the features that the company offers enabling them to stand out from the other accounting firms. Another important factor is that the firm handles each account personally which gives them full knowledge of each of the client’s business transactions. Her background consists of working in the public and private sector of accounting. Those private jobs consisted of her working as a Controller and getting to understand the overall day-to-day operations of a business. During her years in public accounting, Suzanne could understand business transactions, after-the-fact, and helped guide the clients to make better financial decisions. The businesses she has knowledge in and has worked on are in the areas of retail, restaurant, construction, professional, law, medical services, non-profit, real estate, property management and wholesale.
The firm has successfully represented clients on tax audits with state and local government agencies and helped the client in gathering documentation and putting together strategies to minimize the time the audits were under review. Historical work experience with auditors enables our firm to professionally advise the clients on steps to take to minimize or avoid tax audits.
